Non-Motorized Transportation Pilot Program (NTP)The Non-Motorized Transportation Pilot Program (NTP) is a federal source of funding available to government agencies in Minneapolis and the surrounding 13 communities. The purpose of NTP is to increase rates of bicycling and walking, and to reduce rates of driving. Minneapolis is one of four communities nationwide to receive $21.5 million. It is the only project area to be administered by a non-profit, Transit for Livable Communities. Bike Walk Twin Cities from Bike Walk Twin Cities on Vimeo.
